The very best of the every popular Doggersbank series, C1 was built to an unlimited budget, with features like a 50 percent thicker steel hull than normal for her series, adding to her comfort at sea and at anchor. In addition to hull plate thickness equal to a 200' Feadship, she has bulletproof glass in every window and upgraded ground tackle better than a yacht twice her size. In 2009/2010 her third owner sent her to Delta Marine for a massive refit including new engines, generators and inverter system, the addition of a bulbous bow extension of the vessel and a rebuild or replacement of nearly every system. Her upgraded proactive stabilizers, keel addition and new bulbous bow only serve to enhance her sea keeping and comfort. C1 sleeps eight in her owner’s party in three staterooms, plus four crew in two staterooms. In perfect condition, C1 is better than a new boat, at a fraction of replacement cost.
