WEST CAMERON is a conventional transom, aft-cockpit Sou'wester 52 sloop finished with a gloss-varnished cherry interior that includes a three-stateroom, two-head layout plan. She features a Carbon Fiber double-spreader mast with Leisure Furl boom, electric winches and bow thruster. West Cameron is in excellent condition!
The Sou'wester 52' is a modification of Hinckley's popular SW51. The extra length comes from her reverse transom. An additional 85 cubic feet of living area has been coaxed from the interior. Adding to the open feel of the living area, the main salon is shifted amidships, to take full advantage of the 14-foot beam. The offset companionway frees up even more space for the generous quarter cabin. Other modifications include a spade rudder located further aft for an enhanced feel and maneuverability, not only under sail, but powering around docks and in crowded harbors.
