KETCHUP is a 1985 Hinckley Sou'wester 51 with the 3-cabin layout. This McCurdy & Rhodes design has moderate overhangs, efficient underwater foils and a balanced sail plan to make it a formidable opponent in competition, yet she can be handled easily by a cruising couple. Over the course of her long-term ownership, she has received many upgrades and shows like a much newer yacht. Notable improvements include new Hall Carbon Fiber mast with in-mast furling system with Navtec rod rigging (2003), lovely Stars & Stripes Blue Awlgrip (2007), new Westerbeke engine (2003) with only 475 hours, and electric primary and main sheet winches. KETCHUP has been professionally maintained at Hinckley Yacht Services and is a "boat to buy."
