The Mason 44 is a serious ocean going sailboat, cutter rigged with a full keel and large powerful rudder that is well protected in an apperture. She was built by PAE/Mason at the TaShing yard. The same yard which builds the Nordhavn trawlers and Taswell series of sailing yachts. The hull is solid FRP, thick and heavily reinforced, a gorgeous refined full keel with no keel bolts. So well built, the boat is quiet even in a gale. She is fast for her waterline, sea kindly and very comfortable, with the tankage necessary for long-distance cruising.
