David grew up sailing at an early age in Buzzards Bay, MA, cruising around New England and racing offshore. He began his career in yachting at 19 and quickly progressed to the role of Captain/Engineer. Having had the benefit of sailing and working on a large variety of yachts, he has an extensive background in managing large refits and running busy private and charter programs. Over the last nine years, he has fulfilled the position of Captain/Engineer on sail and motor yachts ranging from 60-100 feet on the east coast of the U.S. and Caribbean. He holds a 200-ton license with the RYA and regularly freelances for select private and charter clients.
His diverse background in yachting, passion for boating, and dedication will ensure a seamless and exceptional brokerage experience. He prides himself on his integrity and willingness to go above and beyond for a client. Moving ashore after 12 years, David is shifting gears and using his experience and knowledge to join the team at Wellington Yacht Partners.
He is currently living on his C&C 40, CORSAIR, and restoring a boat that won the 1975 Fastnet Race. Along with his passion for the water, he also enjoys driving in classic car events and going on road rallies
