SNOWHAWK is Hull Number 17 of the popular Ted Hood Little Harbor 54 series. With her newer engine, generator, rod rigging and working sail inventory, as well as many other recent upgrades, she is ready for a new owner.

SNOWHAWK sleeps six in three private staterooms, plus one or two in main salon. Two full-size heads, each with separate stall shower. All new interior fabrics by S&S Fabrics, Portsmouth, RI.

Starting forward, and aft of the bow storage compartment, is a v-berth stateroom with filler piece. Quilted bedspread. A settee is to starboard; vanity and hanging locker to port. There is a guest cabin off the passageway aft to starboard with over/under berths. The forward head/shower is off the passageway to port.

The main salon is spacious and open with six fixed Lexan ports in the hull and eight opening ports in the deckhouse. There is a 3/4 round settee/dinette to starboard, a settee to port with a cocktail table in front. The nav area is aft of this settee, along with access to the aft head. Electric oil lamps in main salon. Indirect valance lighting in main salon.

The galley is aft of the main salon to starboard, with double stainless steel sinks, 4-burner propane stove with oven and broiler, microwave and separate refrigeration and freezer. All counter tops are beige Corian.

The master suite has a queen-sized centerline berth with quilted bedspread and settees port and starboard. There is a vanity amidships and a large hanging locker to port. The head and shower are accessed to port.

SNOWHAWK's interior is finished to extremely high standards in satin-varnished teak. Floorboards (which all lock into place) are gloss-varnished teak and holly. Overheads are white Formica. There are 18 opening polished stainless steel portholes and nine opening stainless steel deck hatches for exceptional ventilation. The interior is fully air conditioned, with 36000 BTU of capacity.

Hand-laid fiberglass hull with Airex foam core construction. Molded-in fiberglass fuel and water tanks and centerboard trunk. Centerboard configuration offers minimum draft of 6’-4” with board up and maximum draft of 11’-4” with board down. Internal cast lead ballast. Hand-laid fiberglass deck with Divinycell core construction and 5/8" teak overlay. Varnished teak exterior trim with highest quality stainless steel portlights, hatches and cowl ventilators. Hull finish is white Awlgrip. Deckhouse is white, and coach roof non-skid is grey. There is varnished teak rubrail with stainless steel striker. The bottom is coated with epoxy for resistance to osmosis.
