After purchasing the Little Harbor 70 “MACHBUSTER” in 2017, owner Gene decided to enter the Marion-Bermuda Race. It was his first ocean race, and it turned out to be a great start – finishing third across the line and fourth overall on corrected time. After a windy start coming out of Buzzards Bay, they never tacked once over 600+ miles and maintained good speed in both light and heavy air – with crew well-fed including wine at dinner!
