What's the Newport International Boat Show? Glad you asked!
It's four days. This year, September 17 through 20. And it's a fantastic time to be in Newport. It's seven connected sites stitched together across seventeen plus acres of historic downtown Newport — Newport Yachting Center, Bowen's Wharf, Bannister's Wharf, and more. You can walk the whole downtown by dock - past hundreds of new boats (some making their first-ever U.S. appearance), past exquisite brokerage boats, past booths of more gear and electronics than you could possibly need, past a seminar tent where someone's explaining docking technique, wiring systems, etc. to an attentive crowd.
This is the 55th year of it. Fifty-five years of the iconic Newport waterfront doing the same beautiful thing every fall — kicking off boat show season for the whole country, basically saying, "Alright, everyone, here we go."
So, what is the Newport International Boat Show? It's four days on the waterfront to look forward to all summer. It will be here soon and we will be there. Come find Wellington Yacht Partners, say "Hi," and enjoy a look at our boats!
