Pedigree & Design
The Designer (Dieter Empacher): As an 18-year veteran and Design Manager at Little Harbor Boat Yard, Dieter Empacher helped create world-class offshore racing and cruising yachts (including the 12-meter Independence and Canadian Cup winner Dynamite) before launching his own firm and partnering with Bristol Yachts.
The Builder (Bristol Boat Yard): Built to a higher standard than typical production sailboats, Bristol yachts feature skeg-hung rudders, keel-stepped masts, fully encapsulated keel ballast, and interior cabinetry heavily bonded to the hull. CORSAIR utilizes a “whale bottom” hull design with a steep deadrise, keeping ballast low for exceptional comfort and motion in heavy seaways.
Accommodation & Interior Layout
Stepping below deck reveals an exquisite raised-panel Cherrywood interior offering nearly 7 feet of headroom throughout.
Main Salon: Spans the full beam aft of the mast, featuring a full-length pull-out settee, bookshelf, built-in HDTV, and a central dry bar.
Galley: A secure passageway galley equipped with wide marble counters, dual Frigaboat refrigeration/freezer units, a Seafrost unit, a Force 10 4-burner stove/oven, and a Sharp convection/microwave.
Owner Aft Stateroom: A luxurious full-width owner’s suite featuring extra-thick mattresses (a double to port and single to starboard with a leather seat between), generous cedar-lined hanging lockers, and an ensuite head with a full stall shower and electric vacuum-flush toilet.
Guest Staterooms: Features a forward V-berth guest cabin and a second guest cabin with over/under bunks (lower double, upper single), both with private or semi-private access to a well-appointed shared guest head and stall shower.
