As a true Rhode Islander, Bridget grew up sailing Optimists in Narragansett Bay. Her father was a boatbuilder, and she spent many summer holidays at his yard as a child, watching custom boats come to life. She left Aquidneck Island to play competitive lacrosse in college and graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Sustainable Landscape Design.

When life on land no longer held her captive, Bridget spent five years aboard a Nautitech 54, cooking, diving, and kitesurfing her way across the South Pacific. She sailed the waters of Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean, but eventually found her way back home to the waters of New England. Bridget then spent two years aboard a Lagoon 620, cooking for a family that allowed her to homeschool her two children on board. Together, they cruised from Croatia to Valencia, Spain, where they settled for a year. Her love of the ocean, traveling, and seeking new adventures has sparked curiosity in her children, who now share her love of the sea.

Bridget spent five years working for Oyster Yachts as the office manager for the US office. She supported all aspects of the business, from sales and marketing to service. She is now making the natural transition to becoming a yacht broker. Her family’s background in boatbuilding, combined with her extensive experience on the ocean, provides her with a solid understanding of cruising yachts and how a family might best find a boat to suit their needs.
