SYMPHONY | Alden 50 | 50ft

Portsmouth, RI, US

We are proud to present SYMPHONY, a stunning aft-cockpit Alden 50. Alden 50s are known for their "yacht like" good looks as well as being proven performance cruisers. SYMPHONY is no exception. With her dark green hull, gold cove stripe, white boot top, varnished toe rail and white deck with contrasting non-skid, SYMPHONY does the 50 Series proud in any harbor.

The profile of SYMPHONY is only part of the story. The Alden craftsmanship is evident when you first step on board. The interior is satin cherry, with a teak and holly sole. SYMPHONY's salon, however, is not like many of the other Alden 50s. When the present owner purchased the boat (winter, 2013), the starboard side had two barrel chairs with a fold-up table between. Two built-in seats/settees were fabricated by McMillen Yachts (April, 2013), making the salon on SYMPHONY on par with any yacht of this size. In addition to her updated seating arrangement, a new salon table was fabricated (the original is in storage), and new cushions were installed. Tan canvas, bimini, two sets of cockpit cushions, as well as the custom teak "surfing seats," complete the look of this pedigreed yacht.

The hull is dark green with gold cove stripe, double white boot stripes and red bottom. Deck is white with light tan molded non-skid. Rubrail with stainless steel striker. Forward and aft ports were removed, core area around the ports were "re-glassed" and port glass was replaced. Port and starboard sail tracks were removed and re-bedded.
