Portsmouth, RI, US
The Tartan 4400 may be one of the most spacious boats available in its size. The cockpit is huge and has features such as electric primary and secondary winches that are more often associated with larger yachts. Below decks the raised saloon is a great place to have meals or just relax. The saloon windows maximize natural light below, making an inviting area. The galley is spacious and open to the saloon, creating a very social feel below. The forward owner’s cabin is massive with queen berth and loads of storage in lockers and drawers. Guests will also be pleased with the queen aft cabin having a tremendous amount of space and storage.
The sailing performance of the Tartan 4400 may be one of its best features. The mast is a carbon fiber spar and the mainsail boom furling. With all controls led to the cockpit and all winches electric, trimming sails could not be easier; the owner chose Quantum Hydranet sails. A large destroyer wheel and deep spade rudder give the boat a nice feel when loaded up.
Professionally maintained since new, NICOLE LYNN will not disappoint.

A true two-cabin boat, the forward master cabin is huge with storage in lockers and drawers, hanging lockers and natural lighting and ventilation via large deck hatch. The aft cabin offers a private space for guests with a queen size berth, ports for ventilation and locker storage. The raised saloon area to port has a large curved settee with an oval shaped, drop-leaf dining table and leather upholstery. On the starboard side is a spacious area, with storage in the desk and drawers, adjacent to which is the forward-facing navigation table.
Moving forward of the saloon is a step-down galley which has all the amenities you could desire for long term cruising and is open to the main saloon.
On deck the Tartan 4400 has a large protected cockpit with a drop-down transom for walk-through access to the water or dinghy. MANUFACTURER DESCRIPTION
The Tartan 4400 comes with two things you won''t find elsewhere: Luxurious Tartan styling and unmatched Tartan performance. Whether your cruising plans call for weekend or weeks-long cruising, or for living aboard for the season or forever, the Tartan 4400 will indulge you with an abundance of comfort and convenience. We start with furniture-grade solid cherry joinerwork, satin-varnished to perfection, then add your choice of designer fabrics all set off with lighting we''ve designed that adjusts to suit your mood, whether at work or play. Additionally, the two staterooms have a surfeit of clothes drawers and hanging locker space, shelves in the right places, room to dress, and space in which to enjoy a quiet moment.
The Tartan 4400 interior is a gem, but because Tartan owners enjoy owning a yacht that is not only beautifully appointed but sails right by other cruisers, we''ve incorporated our trademark mix of passagemaking speed and reassuring stability into the 4400. The 5’-6”- draft 9,000-pound Beavertail bulb keel gives the 4400 sail-carrying power and stability. A deep, elliptical-shaped balanced spade rudder means instant response and tight maneuvering ability. And the 4400''s double-spreader masthead sailplan is as powerful as it is easy to handle, with all sail controls led to the security of the cockpit.
