First named DREAMCATCHER, WHITE RHINO (name reserved) was originally built for a very experienced yachtsman who included his longtime captain as project manager.
WHITE RHINO has the master cabin forward interior plan allowing the owner and his guests the option for a more private yacht and away from the working part of the boat, located in the stern.
This highly successful “S” deck version of the Swan 82 allows lots of natural light below deck, great visibility from the saloon and still with the breathtaking lines one expects of a Swan.
For the best of both worlds, WHITE RHINO was originally set up for long distance performance world cruising. Under her second owner, high tech sails were added to also allow for some racing.
Under both owners, WHITE RHINO has been pampered. Teak decks, carbon standing rigging, electronics and sails, to mention a few upgrades, have been made.
From 2012 to 2017 WHITE RHINO was laid up in a shed in New England. As a result, all the original machinery has very low hours on it.
Purchased by the present owner in 2021, WHITE RHINO was freighted across the Atlantic from the UK to the east coast of the US. Racing sails were added, and she has since been sailing in the Caribbean as well as the New England area.
A change of the owner’s personal plans is prompting the sale of WHITE RHINO.
