INTRODUCTION

Iconic Sparkman & Stephens design, the Swan 48 is an extremely functional yacht capable of many tasks. The regatta accolades include the Bermuda Race, Antigua Raceweek, BVI Regatta, Admirals Cup and Transatlantic races. Off the racecourse Swan 48s have taken their owners both around the World and across the Bay in speed and comfort.

The hand-built solid fiberglass construction has a sea kindly motion in challenging weather conditions, while the “tall-rig” option insures it is a performer in light air.

The Kota and Teak wood interior features a layout with sleeping for 8 in two private cabins plus salon and two heads. The salon table can host a family sized meal and there is great storage aboard for personal gear, spares, and provisions.

GALATEA was purchased in the height of Covid to serve as a family cruising platform. As such it was recently updated with current B&G plotter, radar, sailing instruments, safety gear, solar panels, batteries and more.

Adventure sailing, Caribbean Sabbatical or Summer cruiser, GALATEA represents an economical way to purchase a sailing yacht of high pedigree capable of sailing anywhere her owners wish to take her.

Attractively priced, we invite your inspection.
