MADAME GENEVA is a thoroughly modern sailing yacht chock full of innovative features and options with a best-in-class cockpit design with twin wheels and fold down transom and a roomy three cabin layout with a full beam galley, two heads and a utility cabin for those intending to do extended cruising. A two-position Nav station; gimballed Nav table; high/low expandable salon table that drops down to convert into a huge lounge; sliding inboard salon settee (to account for expandable table); a fold-up cockpit settee that also converts to a lounge; fold-out stainless anchor roller with windlass below the deck; expandable bow sprit for a Code Zero; double head stay rig with swept back spreaders; gradual companionway steps- are truly but a few of the contemporary and dynamite features that make this boat a winner.

This is not Wellington’s first go-round with Dufour, and we are really impressed with their overall design and ‘look’; sailing characteristics*; build quality and innovative thinking. We have helped several of our clients purchase these boats - in one case in Grenada for extended Caribbean cruising with children aboard doing a gap year and in another for coastal New England use with children in the mix. Interestingly cruising with children has also been true for MADAME GENEVA, which was purchased new by her current owners in Maryland in 2015 and used in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. We believe Dufour is a cut above the rest and wish there were more of them available here in the States.

MADAME GENEVA is well loved and has been well cared for, including a recent haul out with annual maintenance at Safe Harbor New England Boatworks - August 2023. She is now back in the water in full commission, truly ‘ready to go’ AND priced to sell. The owners are on to other adventures and are done using the boat. We invite your interest, inquiry and inspection as we are confident the condition and equipment (including a new tender) which convey with the vessel will not disappoint!
