Dolf is a founding Partner of Wellington Yacht Partners. An active sailor out of Sakonnet Point since early childhood, he cruises and races any chance he gets.

He learned to sail at Sakonnet Yacht Club in Little Compton, RI, (where the rest of his family did) and later instructed and coached its racing teams. Besides a successful racing career as skipper on both his nationally ranked high school and college sailing teams, he has also enjoyed sailing in the Newport to Bermuda, Marblehead to Halifax, Annapolis to Newport and other offshore races.

After graduating from Connecticut College with a degree in Economics and studying at the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth, Dolf worked in finance in Boston. Before long, his dream of working with boats quickly brought him back to Rhode Island, where he began brokering high-end power and sailing yachts. Following successful initial years in boat sales, he was excited to be presented with the opportunity to start a new brokerage firm with fellow industry veterans Ted Hood and Murray Lord. He has taken great pleasure in this new venture, focusing on his specialty: high-quality yachts -- both power and sail.

A versatile broker, Dolf has sold boats ranging from a 49’ custom C. Raymond Hunt motor yacht built by Baltic Yachts in Finland to a 73’ Sparkman & Stephens classic ocean racer. When not assisting buyers and sellers with their yachting needs, he can be found skiing or on the water, whether it be sailing J24s on Thursday nights or cruising with friends throughout New England.
