CLOUD SHADOW is a ketch rig Alden 54. Her spars are Hood Stoway in-mast furling spars for ease of sail handling. Her ketch rig allows her transit, north or south, using the intracoastal waterway. She is a very handsome sailing vessel. Whether under sail or at anchor, CLOUD SHADOW is an eye catcher. While offering shoal draft, she is truly an offshore sailing vessel and her condition is excellent.
Hull No. 03 of Alden Yachts' 54’ LOA, 40’ LWL, series, CLOUD SHADOW was built in 1986 for buyers requesting equipment and accommodations for long-term cruising and a boat that was also capable of transiting the East Coast's Intracoastal Waterway. Her second owner sailed the vessel in two Marion to Bermuda races, and her third owner has cruised her seasonally in New England.
