Historically speaking, every ten years or so, someone designs and builds a truly one of a kind proper offshore vessel that establishes a new industry standard. MAYA happens to be one of these creations, and from the standpoint of safety, speed, short-handed capabilities, and state-of-the-art electronics, nothing compares….and best of all, she is a truly beautiful design.
Fortunately, her present (2nd owner) has taken MAYA many steps further towards perfection and added a Leisure Furl boom system, new sails (2010) compete exterior re-paint (2004), and a very long list of safety gear. In short, MAYA has been very properly refit and is now ready again to face the oceans of the world. All systems have been upgraded and serviced throughout, so the next owner only needs to move aboard and start MAYA's next ocean journey.
The very experienced owner states: "After provisioning and fuel, I could get on her and in 30-minutes sail her anywhere in the world!"
