The Selene 53 has a powerful combination of live-aboard comfort and excellent long-range cruising in safety for a couple and their guests. MOON BEAM's comfortable interior is finished in satin-finished teak with teak and holly soles throughout. As one boards onto the aft deck, there is a door at the transom to the integral swim platform. Forward to port are stairs leading up to the fly bridge. From the aft deck, a Diamond Sea Glaze door leads directly into the main salon. To port is an L-shaped settee with folding teak table. To starboard are two chairs with a cabinet between and aft. The U-shaped galley is at the forward end of the salon, to port. To starboard of the galley are additional cabinets and a lift-up 27" flat-screen TV. From the galley, stairs lead up to the raised pilothouse. The pilothouse has an L-shaped settee to port, aft, with a raised table which allows good visibility. Behind the settee is a pilot berth. There is a helm chair just behind the helm station. State-of-the-art electronics are displayed for comfortable and easy operation. There are Diamond Sea Glaze Dutch doors port and starboard that lead to the side decks. To starboard and aft are stairs that lead up to the fly bridge. To starboard forward in the pilothouse are stairs leading down to the accommodations. Aft from the base of the stairs is the master stateroom with ensuite head. There is a door into the engine room aft to starboard. The two guest staterooms are forward. Immediately to port is a guest stateroom, forward is the VIP guest stateroom. To starboard is the guest head and shower.
MOON BEAM has just met her owners' dream of completing the Great Loop. Mission accomplished, and now it's time for her to move into other discerning hands.
