ROBIN | Hood 55 Expedition | 55ft
ROBIN is an absolutely incredible “no nonsense” Hood 55 Expedition designed by Ted Hood and built as his last ROBIN. She is a world cruiser that has the speed and range capability of motorsailer combined with the sailing characteristics of any other Ted Hood-designed performance bluewater sailboat, and will take you anywhere in the world in absolute comfort and safety. A 'wolf in sheep’s clothing', she is luxurious and comfortable with every creature comfort, while on deck she is all business with a low-maintenance exterior ready to take on the elements and protect her crew in her pilothouse. ROBIN is fully ready to leave tomorrow on any ocean adventure. Rarely is a boat presented in such pristine condition with the latest technology and a full complement of spares for virtually every system. Unlike so many expedition sailboats, ROBIN is easily handled by one competent sailor, with remotes for all her electric furlers and five electric winches. She was outfitted and refitted by MRP Refits, a premiere refit company specializing in outfitting vessels for circumnavigations, and will impress even the most critical and knowledgeable yachtsman.
